Catalan Key

A lush resort island at the southern mouth of Biscayne Bay, boasting palm-canopied beaches, championship tennis facilities, and a historic lighthouse.

Overview

Catalan Key marks the southern terminus of the Rickenbacker causeway corridor, offering a tranquil barrier island paradise of upscale residential neighborhoods, championship sports complexes, and pristine parklands. At the island's southern tip, a historic ocean lighthouse guards the navigation channels leading into the open Atlantic and the Keys archipelago. In gameplay terms, Catalan Key is a premier destination for long high-speed coastal highway runs across scenic bridges. The sprawling public parks, golf courses, and marina docks provide ample space for pursuits, while the historic lighthouse at the cape offers an elevated sniper perch across the bay. In the real world, Catalan Key is inspired by Key Biscayne, Florida, home to Crandon Park, the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse, and world-class tennis venues.
