Overview

Dalton Island forms the industrial backbone of Port Vice City, engineered to handle mega-freighter cargo ships, container logistics, and commercial marine fueling. Dominated by massive gantry cranes, stacked shipping containers, rail spurs, and restricted customs compounds, the island operates continuously under intense industrial spotlights. In gameplay terms, Dalton Island is a labyrinth of shipping container canyons, elevated catwalks, and heavy industrial machinery. The dense container stacks provide exceptional tactical cover for firefights, stealth infiltration, and vehicle getaways. In the real world, Dalton Island corresponds to the southern sections of Dodge Island and Lummus Island at PortMiami, one of the busiest cargo transit hubs in North America.
