Overview
The Goose Key district comprises the active harbor basin and commercial waterfront of the island. Mooring balls fill the sheltered sound, while shrimp boats, charter vessels, and liveaboard catamarans share dock space with private watercraft. In gameplay terms, the dense web of piers, moored yachts, and warehouse docks creates a three-dimensional aquatic obstacle course. Leaping between boat decks and navigating shallow tenders provides unique tactical mobility. In the real world, this district is modeled after Boot Key Harbor in Marathon, one of the premier natural cruising harbors and liveaboard boat communities in the southeastern United States.
