Overview

Hamlet is a legendary frontier fishing town perched where the freshwater rivers meet the tidal mangrove labyrinth of the Gulf. Built atop ancient oyster shell mounds and connected by narrow wooden bridges, Hamlet retains a fiercely independent coastal identity shaped by decades of crabbing, mullet fishing, and historic contraband running. In gameplay terms, Hamlet serves as a unique aquatic crossroads. Shallow skiffs and airboats can slip through narrow mangrove tunnels into the open sea, making Hamlet an unrivaled hub for waterborne evasions and clandestine cargo drops. In the real world, Hamlet is inspired by Everglades City and Chokoloskee Island, famous historic outposts in Florida's Ten Thousand Islands known for stone crab harvesting, hurricane resilience, and colorful smuggling legends.
