Overview

The Key Lento district is the commercial core of the island, bisected by the Overseas Highway. Neon signs advertise scuba charters, deep-sea fishing trips, and fresh stone crab, while pastel motels and boat repair yards line the shoulder. In gameplay terms, this corridor features long straightaways for cruising alongside dense clusters of roadside buildings ideal for breaking line of sight. Boat slips along both sides of the island allow quick transitions onto open water. In the real world, this district is modeled after the lively mile-marker strip of Key Largo, where road-trippers and divers mingle at waterfront bars and marinas.
