Overview
The Landfill is a sprawling industrial waste processing and recycling facility serving the municipal centers of Leonard County and northern Vice-Dale County. Dominated by massive terraced mounds of compacted refuse, industrial incinerators, sorting facilities, and fleets of heavy waste haulers, the facility represents essential regional infrastructure. Constant industrial activity and heavy machinery operate across the dusty service roads. From an exploratory perspective, the Landfill is an extraordinary industrial playground featuring steep dirt ramps, tiered mounds, and heavy bulldozers and compactor machinery. The rugged topography and industrial debris offer formidable defensive obstacles during combat and chaotic off-road driving opportunities. In the real world, the Landfill is directly inspired by the famous "Mount Trashmore" (Monarch Hill Renewable Energy Park) in Pompano Beach, Broward County, Florida. Standing over 200 feet high, the real-world landfill is one of the highest physical elevations in South Florida, visible for miles across regional highways.
