Ocean Beach South

The southern coastal tip of Vice Beach overlooking major maritime channels, featuring scenic harbor views, public piers, and luxury waterfront residences.

Overview

Ocean Beach South occupies the southern terminus of the Vice Beach barrier island. The district offers panoramic views across the deep-water inlet where shipping channels lead into Port Vice City. Featuring waterfront walking paths, landscaped seaside green spaces, and luxury high-rise condominium towers, it provides a calmer, upscale atmosphere compared to the intense nightlife of central Ocean Beach. Boats, high-powered speedboats, and personal watercraft frequently navigate the adjacent navigation cuts. For players exploring the southern coastline, Ocean Beach South serves as a strategic launch point for maritime travel toward the southern keys or industrial docks. The stone jetties and public piers offer excellent sightlines over the bay, while the perimeter roads provide high-speed coastal driving routes with minimal cross-traffic. In the real world, Ocean Beach South is directly inspired by South Pointe and South Pointe Park at the southern tip of Miami Beach. The real-world park borders Government Cut, offering paved walking paths, fishing piers, and viewing spots for massive cruise liners departing PortMiami into the Atlantic Ocean.
