Peacock Bay

A historic, lush bayfront neighborhood in southern Vice City, known for sailing clubs, banyan tree canopies, and relaxed waterside parks.

Overview

Peacock Bay is an idyllic coastal neighborhood nestled along the southern waters of Biscayne Bay in Vice City. Defined by dense canopies of historic banyan trees, winding leafy streets, and historic oolite limestone walls, the district balances a bohemian village atmosphere with affluent maritime living. The shoreline features private sailing basins, public boardwalks, and coastal parks where residents dock recreational sailboats and gather at waterfront dining spots overlooking the bay. From a gameplay perspective, Peacock Bay offers tranquil residential avenues and accessible shoreline marinas that serve as excellent jump-off points for watercraft escapes into open waters. The abundance of natural tree cover and winding residential avenues provides effective concealment against airborne police units. In the real world, Peacock Bay is directly inspired by Coconut Grove, Miami's oldest continuously inhabited modern neighborhood. Named in tribute to Peacock Park and pioneer founders Charles and Isabella Peacock, the real-world community is world-renowned for its lush tropical greenery, sailing heritage, and relaxed coastal culture.
