Stiltsville is an enigmatic maritime community perched directly above the turquoise waters of southern Biscayne Bay on reinforced wooden and concrete stilts. Hovering one mile offshore with no land in sight, these elevated wooden houses have sheltered fishermen, social clubs, and covert operations through decades of hurricanes and changing legal jurisdictions. In gameplay terms, Stiltsville is one of the most distinctive aquatic environments in Leonida. Navigating shallow water skiffs and jet skis beneath the stilt platforms provides tactical evasion, while the elevated wooden decks and catwalks offer sniper vantage points across open water. In the real world, Stiltsville is directly based on the historic Stiltsville settlement in Biscayne National Park, established during the Prohibition era of the 1930s when off-shore gambling and drinking were beyond local police jurisdiction.
